Happy Belated 3 Month Birthday!

So I have a feeling that the "belated" part of my post title might be something that might become a normal thing for us since I am having a little trouble finding the time to post pictures regularly!!! But you know better late than never! So here goes! Our sweet boy turned 3 months on the 9th and he is just getting to be so much fun! He has grown 2 inches since his 2 month appointment putting him at 23in. long and gained a 1 1/2 pounds so he is at 10.5 lbs. Still our little man but growing proportional and on track for where he needs to be! He is an amazing sleeper and is now eating 5oz. a day, 5 times a day and I just dropped his late night feeding so he is going to bed around 8:30-9:00pm and sleeps until around 7:30-8:00am!!! Not bad!!!! He takes 3 naps a day and sometimes a tiny cat nap in the evening! Since he has gotten his hearing aids we have noticed an improvement in his babbling and have enjoyed watching him become more alert. Not too sure if that is just due to him getting older or the hearing aids but regardless it is fun to see! He is beginning to grab at objects and is constantly moving non-stop! He has also found his hands and loves to suck on them! Cooper absolutely LOVES his sister and is watching her all the time! He continues to be such a cuddly little boy and is so content wherever we go! We can't imagine our lives without our sweet little boy and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for him and our family! Here are some recent pictures!!!

I am officially Cooper the Pooper!!!!

(So this might be a little too much information but Cooper is pretty regular with his bowel movements so I had to get a picture of his poopie face! He does this every time he is going potty and it is hilarious because Mariella even knows the face now and will say "Oh mom Cooper is going potty, he is making his poopie face!" Basically it is just his lips puckering and typically one lip higher than the other, eyebrows down and he begins to get red in the middle of his forehead! Can you tell I watch my kids way too much?!?!?)

Having some fun in the sun!!!

The weather here has been absolutely gorgeous so we have been having such a blast outside! This particular day we took everything outside and had a picnic for lunch, played some music, and just played with our toys on the patio!!! Cooper absolutely loves being outside and Mariella has so much fun entertaining him!!! Here are some cute pictures!

As Cooper is getting bigger we are beginning to see how much he and Mariella look alike! I have taken some pictures of Cooper that have reminded me of Mariella so I thought I would share them with you!

Although they may look similar they definitely have different personalities! Mariella came out of my tummy very intense and demanding! Although, she was a great baby she definitely required a lot of attention! Cooper on the other hand is very laid back and just goes with the flow! Together I believe Mariella and Cooper will be a perfect brother and sister match! She can boss him around and he can do whatever she says because he doesn't really care!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

So I am a little late on blogging about Valentine's Day but I just wanted to post some cute pictures of our sweet loves! We had a very low key Valentines Day and just enjoyed some take out and then ate some yummy blizzards for dessert! Mariella was so sweet on Valentine's Day! Whenever she would do something she wasn't supposed to do she would come up to me, pat me on the back and say it's ok mommy Happy Valentine's Day! What a little stinker! We hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day and we feel so blessed to be able to share our love together as a family of 4!!!

Mariella's first hair cut!!!

Yep that is right!!! Mariella is going to be 3 in April and is just now getting her first hair-cut! For those of you who don't know we had to wait so long because Mariella absolutely hates it when I try to brush her hair or do anything fun to it!!! We were finally able to convince her that she needed one and that they were fun to get and most of all didn't hurt...which was her main concern! We had her hair-cut at the place that Robert and I get our hair cuts! It is a husband and wife who have their own hair salon and they were so sweet to make Mariella a bag of goodies which consisted of homemade chocolate chip cookies and skittles to nibble on while she was getting her hair-cut!!! Her favorite! She was a little scared at first so I had her sit in my lap and she was great! Mariella let the lady cut her hair and never complained once! I was so proud of her and cant' believe she is getting so big! Here are some fun pictures!

Happy 2 Month Birthday!

So our sweet Cooper got one of the best birthday gifts....his hearing aids!!! We went yesterday to the Sunshine Cottage and they fitted him for his hearing aids and he now has them to wear at all waking hours! We are adjusting well to learning how to take care of them and put them on him and he is adjusting to having something new on his ears and hearing more sounds! It has been fun to see the difference in how he interacts and look forward to seeing how his hearing aids help him progress as he gets older! Cooper also had his 2 month check up today and overall everything went great! He is gaining weight just slowly, in my opinion, but I am a mommy that worries about everything! The doctor said he was gaining weight fine and is just having me change up a few eating routines to help beef him up a bit! He now weighs 8lb 14oz and is 21in. long. His head, height, and weight gain are all proportional so that is good he is just a little man! The dr. has reassured me that his weight now has no correlation to how big he will be when he grows up I just keep praying that he is ok and that he continues to gain weight appropriately! Everything else went great and we look forward to seeing our little man grow with his hearing aids! Here are some pictures of our sweet Cooper!

Hi mommy! Thank you for my hoodie! I really like it!

Here is a picture of him with his aid on! It looks so big because he is only 2 mths. old but as he gets older and bigger it will begin to look smaller compared to his ears! They have to put a behind the ear kind of hearing aid on children because they are more powerful for producing sound and more durable for kids since they tend to chew on them, play with them, anything and everything!!!!
